Novice Mountain Bike Ride

Novice Mountain Bike Ride
May 4, 2017 tommy

This ride is for novice mountain bikers that are looking for a group to share the trails with. We understand that it can be discouraging (and dangerous) riding alone or with other riders that are far more advanced. That’s why we created this group to bring riders of similar abilities together. This is NOT a coached session or a skills clinic.

We meet at the mountain bike trail head between 6:15-6:30pm. There is a $4-$6 park entrance fee if you do not have an Annual Pass. Once in the park, make your first right onto Park Rd. Follow this road around for 1mi and the trail head will be on your left. If you cross the railroad tracks you have gone to far.

We will lead a group through the novice loop, the “Tortoise” and “Hare” trail and regroup periodically. If you find that you are comfortable with the novice trail, some riders will head out on a few of the intermediate trails. Please use your own discrestion and ride within your ability. Helmets are required.

Stay up-to-date on all things mountain biking by joining Club Scrub at www.clubscrub.org Members also receive 12 admissions into Johnathan Dickinson State Park, so it pays for itself!
